Founder · Board Member
Patrice Henning is a Senior Vice President in wealth management, serving clients throughout the United States. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business and public administration and a master’s degree in Lasallian Leadership from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, as well as the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation through the Wharton School.
Her commitment to service was shaped by her military family and the Lasallian call to serve people experiencing poverty. Patrice has held public and nonprofit leadership roles in Colorado, including service on the CollegeInvest Board of Directors, and remains active with WorldDenver and Rotary Club of Evergreen. As a TCOLF co-founder, trustee and board member, she is passionate about connecting resources and relationships that help feed, empower and educate the community while expanding access to clean water.
Founder · Board Member
Jeremiah Mumo is a TCOLF co-founder and board member based in Nairobi. His passion for community service was inspired by his late mother, who fed children living in Kibera.
Guided by the Lasallian spirit of touching hearts, teaching minds and transforming lives, Jeremiah dedicates his time and experience to serving underserved women and children. He holds a bachelor’s degree in education and has continued his studies in counseling psychology. Through board service, he brings local experience, relationships and a commitment to mobilizing the human and material resources that create positive change.
Board Member
Karin worked in Lasallian education nationally and internationally for nearly 30 years. A graduate of Saint Mary’s College of California, she has been inspired by the initiative, creativity and commitment behind TCOLF’s community work.
Karin and her partner began supporting the Centre as monthly donors in 2022, and she joined the board in 2023. Her extensive experience with the Lasallian mission strengthens TCOLF’s commitment to educational opportunity. She also works with Instinctive Drives International, supporting corporate leaders in bringing their best to their work.
Board Member
Bethanie is a registered nurse whose career includes travel nursing and service as Director of Nursing for a rural hospital in Colorado. She brings more than ten years of combined board experience, including healthcare-coalition and regional emergency medical and trauma leadership.
Her passion for healthcare advocacy and water conservation drew her to TCOLF. Bethanie is committed to strengthening partnerships, expanding the WASH program and supporting services for Kibera’s women, children and families.
Board Member
Dr. Kim Mondonedo lives in Maine with her husband, Jude. In both her personal and professional life, she has focused on equal opportunity, consideration of others, environmental sustainability and volunteerism—values closely aligned with TCOLF’s mission. She joined the board following a 2025 TCOLF service trip.
Kim had a federal career spanning more than 20 years and lived around the world. She is now co-owner of Mendall Financial Group and a Certified Financial Planner professional. She holds a Doctor of Education in Transformational Leadership and a Master of Science in Leadership. Her advocacy for women and girls includes doctoral research on financial literacy and reducing poverty and economic vulnerability.
Board Member
Tim Beresnyak is a Certified Fund Raising Executive with more than two decades of development experience supporting national and international nonprofit organizations. His work has helped generate substantial support for educational, healthcare and social-justice causes.
Tim met the Centre of Love team while traveling in Kenya for work. Inspired by TCOLF’s water, sanitation and hygiene initiatives and its empowerment programs, he is committed to building support for community-led change and expanding opportunity for students in Kibera.
Board Member
Ashley is an advisor consultant with New York Life Investments and has worked in financial services since 2008. She believes education is a powerful driver of security, opportunity and freedom of choice.
Ashley earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and holds Series 7 and 63 licenses. Outside her professional work, she enjoys fly fishing, skiing, traveling and spending time with family.
Board Member
Kristen Payne joined the board after participating in TCOLF’s 2025 Friends & Family Service Trip to Kenya. Her lifelong commitment to equity, social justice and service to underrepresented communities closely aligns with TCOLF’s mission.
After a career in sports medicine, Kristen earned a master’s degree in Social Justice and Ethics from the Iliff School of Theology. She now works for the Center for Employment Opportunities, supporting formerly incarcerated individuals as they find employment and reconnect with their communities. She also brings prior nonprofit-board experience and a deep commitment to the Lasallian call to touch hearts, teach minds and transform lives.
